The Different Types of Psychotherapy

The Psychology of ‘Fight’, ‘Flight’, and ‘Freeze’

My books serve as workbooks and are split into two series.

Therapy, demystified.

This series consists of how-to guides designed to help you navigate psychotherapy in the UK, the US, Canada (Québec), France, and Belgium (francophone Wallonia). They include straightforward explanations of various therapeutic modalities and practical steps for starting or ending therapy.

Rather than teaching you self-help techniques to replace therapy, these workbooks help you understand the mechanisms that shape psychotherapy. In doing so, they aim to make you a more informed and empowered participant in your care.

Neuroscience and applied psychology.

This series breaks down complex topics into clear and accessible terms without watering down the science. I wanted these workbooks to be useful for both beginners and those already familiar with the topics.

Rather than focusing on specific mental health challenges, these workbooks delve into the deeper neural and psychological processes that shape our experiences. The aim is to broaden your understanding of the mind and support you in weaving the material into everyday life.

All of my books are available in French and English.

To view the French versions of each book, click the buttons labelled with the book titles, then scroll to the bottom of the page.
